Our Comprehensive Property Management Accounting Service

General Accounting:

  • Processing accounts payable (bill processing).
  • Recording and processing payments.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all agents' ledgers and the general ledger.
  • Processing receipts to tenant ledgers.
  • Maintaining creditors and debtors reports.
  • Setting up new clients & properties in the property management system and general ledger.
  • Ad hoc accounting - Assisting the team with additional ad-hoc accounting or administrative tasks as necessary to help the department achieve its objectives.

Property Accounting:

  • Processing of payables (based on workload).
  • Processing of rent sweeps and posting relevant journals.
  • Recording rent receipts paid via credit card, cheque, or cash.
  • Fortnightly preparation of bank reconciliations, liaising with the finance team to ensure timely clearance of outstanding items.
  • Posting credit card transactions after verifying proper support.
  • Processing petty cash requests from sites in accordance with company policy.
  • Month-end accounting tasks including calculating monthly management fees, provisioning for bad debts, running monthly pre-payment reclassifications, month-end provisioning for bills, expenses, and utility accruals, preparing selected balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, monthly income reconciliation to check billing accuracy, and other monthly activities such as payroll accounting.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Year-end audit support.
  • Producing ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.

Fund Accounting:

  • Maintenance of monthly management accounts.
  • Posting and reconciliation of cash transactions.
  • Preparation of periodic financial statements, cash flows, and associated notes.
  • Preparation of Net Asset Value (NAV) statements and investor reporting packs.
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts in line with the appropriate accounting standard.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Preparation of VAT returns and other tax compliance reporting.
  • Corporate and fund forecasts.
  • Fee calculations including waterfall calculations.
